i've been doing a lot of these...
im gonna try having the series done in red, white, and blue.. i think its a cliche that works well for the series

Commenting late is better than never...trying to catch up on comments :D Excellent...I love the way that this series is developing. You certainly have an astounding amount of talent and it shows with these; you've managed to capture far more expression, feeling and soul in these than most people manage. I love the eyes in this one, as well as the pose. :D

I'm Really not sure about the backround here, but I think you've got a wonderful expression. The shirt is a little distracting as well. Maybe you could have focused more light on the face, maybe with a snoot, and had it fall into darkness a bit for the shirt and backround. If you have a gradiated backround, it wouldn't look as flat and distracting.

Still, the expression and pose carries this one.

thanks.. its finally starting to come together... i dunno what inspired me.. i just thought it would be neat to make a social statement... im not sure what im gonna do with it yet.. maybe a book or gallery exhibition or both :shrug:
