11pm....last night i ended up wandering downtown dallas and i stumbled up to the huge BofA tower... had to stand in the street to get the tripod to see the top.. 7 second exposure... comments appreciated
Can't believe I forgot to comment on this. It's a simply beautiful shot that shows one of the best uses I know of for long-exposure photography: playing with light sources. One of my favorite favorites.
I worked in this building for two years! This is an AWESOME shot!! I have always wanted to photograpy the downtown skyline and particular buildings on an odd way that hasn't really been done before. I haven't figured it out yet, but when I do, I will share!!
The reflections of the floor dividers makes this look like an unfinished building--the unlit windows look like hollow floors and the lit windows look like sporadically placed glass cubes. The colors are amazing. Maybe you should contact the owner of the building and sell the photo to them--they would surely use it to advertise space.
Great shot, I knew immediately what it was. One small correction, though: this isn't Reunion Tower, this is the Bank of America building. Reunion Tower is the tall one with the lighted ball on top, the one that looks like a big concrete dandelion.
Trivia: The BoA building is the tallest building in Dallas.
I like the shot. But, this is not the Reunion Tower. It is the Green Building. Reunion Tower is a tower with a spinning sphere containing a restraunt/Bar. As to teh photo itself, Awesome. Keep up the good work.
